HA! But I took the first step and walked in the door and now there is no turning back! The coaches at Crossfit Reviver have helped me to gain my life back! Through both fitness coaching and nutritional coaching Ive been able to take control of my life and become the athlete that I want to be, oh and lose some weight in the process! :) And through the community of athletes at reviver, Ive been able to keep up with this lifestyle through their support and encouragement. Great coaches, amazing community, fun way to work on your fitness. I highly recommend this place and especially the coaches. The other members are friendly, encouraging, and willing to help the new members. This facility is rather unique and these guys have built a very special place and community. ![]() This not only made sure that I was doing the movements correctly and safely it also helped to solidify my trust with these guys. Like any sport having complete trust and respect for the coaches is key to ones success. It was really important for me to find a facility and team of coaches that actually took an interest in my well-being both from safety and training perspective. Like most pre-cross fit people my workouts consisted of the treadmill, free weights, machines and the like. For me cross fit seemed kind of intimidating so I spent a few weeks speaking with and visiting other facilities in the area. I joined CrossFit Reviver roughly a year ago (approx. I could go on for pages, but really if anyone is looking to pursue fitness at any level, they would find a wonderful home here. It is filled with incredible people of all different ages at all different stages in life. Needless to say, the community this gym inspires is remarkable. They care deeply about safety and proper form, rather than lifting as much weight as possible, which is not something I saw at other boxes. They are highly concerned and consider each members lifestyle, goals, past/current injuries, nutrition and overall wellbeing. Not only that, but they pursue excellence in their own lives by continuing education and obtaining certifications in nutrition, programming and more. The coaches are dedicated on elevated level to each members well being as a whole person in and outside of the gym. ![]() While Im not here to bash boxes, I will say that Reviver has been, by far, the best match for me. After my first year there, I had to move away for a few years and joined a different Crossfit box in the metro Detroit area as well as dropping into a few others.
